Patina Gallery

Patina is a gallery, studio, and event space built around creating accessible opportunities for artists, with a focus on uplifting underrepresented voices and fostering a sense of community.

Rather than positioning the space as a traditional gallery, the goal was to create an identity that felt open, soft, and evolving, something that reflects the people it supports and the work it holds.

An identity shaped by light, layering, and community.

Early conversations centered around creating something that felt dreamy, romantic, and safe, a visual language that felt welcoming rather than institutional. References like stained glass, diffused light, and soft color led to a key idea: layering.

The identity draws from the way glass overlaps and shifts in color, using soft, organic forms that intersect and blend. These layered shapes create a sense of transparency and movement, echoing both the physical space and the idea of artists coming together to form something richer as a whole.

The result is a mark that feels fluid and alive, embracing imperfection and change over time, much like the evolving community Patina is built to support.
