Tender Tulip Ceramics

Formerly KG Clay Co, this project began as a rebrand to better reflect the artist’s growth and evolving body of work. As her ceramics became more expressive and refined, the brand needed to follow, something more memorable, playful, and full of personality.

Together, we developed Tender Tulip Ceramics, a name and identity rooted in softness, sustainability, and a hands-on approach to making. The result is a brand that feels polished but still deeply personal, bringing her work to life in a way that feels as thoughtful and unique as each piece.

Soft, playful, and a little imperfect, just like the work itself.

The ceramics sit at the intersection of function and art, everyday objects that also feel expressive and one-of-a-kind. That balance became the foundation for the brand.

Tulip motifs, something the artist was already drawn to, became a central visual element, while the word “tender” nods to the slow, intentional, and sustainable nature of her process. The identity leans into organic shapes, bold yet approachable color, and slightly imperfect forms to reflect the materiality of clay and the individuality behind each piece.

The result is a brand that feels warm, playful, and full of character, something that doesn’t over-polish the work, but instead supports and elevates what’s already there.
